Percy Darkmagic is a cousin of Jim Darkmagic.
It is revealed during the reading of their grandfather's will that Percy is actually Jim's biological brother, his aunt having magically stolen Percy and his sister Olivia Darkmagic from Jim's mother's womb and placing them in her own womb. Both Jim and Percy are disgusted by learning that fact.
